    Board of Trustees

The Library is governed by the Board of Trustees.

The current trustees are: Kari Christiansen, April Melo, Courtney Langlois

Each member is elected to serve a three-year term.

  • The Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library are major supporters of our South Hampton library.

The current officers are: Martha Anderson (President & Treasurer) and April Melo (Secretary)

The Friends of the Library was organized in 1962. It is a volunteer non-profit organization which works together to:

FOCUS attention on and stimulate support of the Library.

FOSTER greater use of the Library and its services.

ENCOURAGE gifts, endowments and bequests to the Library.

SUPPORT the Library in developing its programs and facilities.

The Friends provide volunteers to help with various Library functions; they provide items, such as equipment and furnishings, which the annual budget doesn’t include; and they promote yearly fund raising projects and participate in community activities.

Membership in the Friends can make a real contribution to the Library services and encourage its growth by helping serve more people in many ways.
